Fernando X. Donayre CFA, CPA – Mr. Donayre is the Chief Investment Officer and founder of INCA Investments, LLC, a Latin American investment management firm based in Miami. Before founding INCA Investments in 2004, Mr. Donayre was employed by Zephyr Management, L.P. from 1996 through 2003 where he managed their portfolios of Latin American listed securities. He continues to manage them via INCA Investments' subadvisory role. From 1994 through 1996, Mr. Donayre was the Director of Research at Globalvest Management, which at the time was the largest Latin American focused investment management firm in the world.  From 1988 through 1994 he was in charge of international and emerging market equity investments for the Investments Department of FPL Group.

Mr. Donayre is a native of Peru and has lived in South America, Mexico and the Caribbean.  He is a CFA charterholder a Certified Public Accountant and received his M.B.A. in International Business from the University of Florida.  Mr. Donayre is a long-time student of the Latin American markets and has published a variety of articles on the subject including “Investing in Latin America: Good Idea, Bad Time?” in the Journal of Investments (Summer 1994) and “Latin America: History Repeats?” in Benefits and Pension Monitor (Summer 1995).

Efrain M. Chavez - Mr. Chavez is an Investment Analyst covering the Cement, Metals & Mining, Pulp & Paper, Energy, Utilities and Agricultural industries. Prior to joining Inca Investments in 2012, Mr. Chavez worked as an Equity Analyst covering Latin American markets with Goldman Sachs and Artha Capital Management. He holds a Bachelors Degree in Finance from Florida State University. He is a Peruvian native and is fluent in Spanish.

Rodolfo Araujo – Mr. Araujo is an Investment Analyst covering the Construction, Homebuilding, Consumer Goods and Insurance industries. Prior to joining Inca Investments in 2011, Mr. Araujo worked as an Equity Analyst in New York and Boston. Mr. Araujo has an MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth, a Bachelors Degree from the Universidade Catolica of Salvador, Brazil and is a CFA level I candidate in the CFA Program. He is a Brazilian native and is fluent in Portuguese.

Odile Santos - Ms. Santos is an Investment Analyst covering the Food, Beverage, Education and Retail sector. She joined INCA Investments in 2008. Prior to joining INCA, Ms. Santos worked with PricewaterhouseCoopers and Citibank in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. She received her Masters of Science in Finance and International MBA from Florida International University in 2007 and previously graduated Summa Cum Laude from Pontificia Universidad Catolica Madre y Maestra in Santo Domingo. Ms. Santos is a native of Dominican Republic and is fluent in Spanish and conversant in Portuguese.

Hugo Bagao - Mr. Bagao is an Investment Analyst covering the Telecom, Transportation, and Healthcare industries. He joined INCA Investments in 2005. He holds a Bachelors Degree in Finance from the University of Miami and is a CFA Level III candidate in the CFA Program.  Mr. Bagao has a Portuguese/Brazilian background, is a native Portuguese speaker and is fluent in Spanish.

Brian Straile - Mr. Straile is an Investment Analyst, covering the Aerospace industry.  Prior to joining INCA Investments in 2005, he worked with Smith Barney and American Express Financial Advisors.  Mr. Straile holds a Bachelors Degree in Finance from Florida International University and is a CFA Level II candidate in the CFA Program.  He has an American/Honduran background and is fluent in Spanish.

Faviana Menendez - Mrs. Menendez is in charge of Client Communications including monthly newsletters, marketing presentations and other client communication material. Prior to joining INCA Investments in 2012, Mrs. Menendez worked for three years as the Assistant Vice President for Investor Relations at BiscayneAmericas Advisers, an Emerging Markets Investment Adviser. Mrs. Menendez has a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance from Texas State University. She is a Bolivian native and is fluent in Spanish.

David Borenstein, CPA – Mr. Borenstein is the Fund Accountant for INCA Investments. He is in charge of the accounting for INCA’s portfolios and communicating with clients about their accounts.  Prior to joining INCA in 2010, he worked in the financial services practice of PricewaterhouseCoopers in South Florida.  David holds a Bachelors Degree in Accounting and a Masters Degree in Accounting from University of Central Florida and is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of Florida.

Nathan Woodruff - Mr. Woodruff is the Chief Compliance Officer for INCA Investments. He is in charge of ensuring that INCA Investments is in compliance with the regulations required of a SEC Registered Investment Advisory firm. Prior to joining INCA in 2011, he was the SEC Financial Reporting Manager for a public company in Plantation, FL. Nathan has five years of public accounting experience, the majority with PricewaterhouseCoopers in Chicago and many more years performing Sarbanes-Oxley and compliance duties for Fortune 500 companies in South Florida. Nathan holds a Bachelors Degree in Accounting from North Carolina A&T State University. He is conversant in Spanish.  

Cristina Ballina - Ms. Ballina is in charge of general administration for INCA Investments. Prior to joining INCA Investments in 2013, Ms. Ballina worked for four years as Head of Communications for the domestic and international offices of Redbridge Network & Healthcare.  She has 14 years of business experience in management, accounting and human resources. Ms. Ballina is of Cuban descent and fluent in Spanish.
